EFC Congress 2024

EACCME® credits

What are the EACCME® credits ?

CME stands for Continuing Medical Education, ie. educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that physicians use to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession.

CME credits are important because countries require a given number of credits annually to maintain medical licenses, and because most hospitals require a given number of credits for their physicians to remain accredited to see patients.
